THA ASH CLOUD CHAOS AND THE VISITS TO THIS BLOG: RECORD NUMBERS

airports

As you know, I have been blogging since June 2005.

During this time I wrote more than 3.400 posts.

With readers from203 countries.

Technorati Authority: 475

And the blog has today more than 1.500 subscribers.

But in the last five days I had more visitors and page views than in all these five years!

That’s amazing.

Today I expect to pass the 15.000 visitors mark in just one day.

Why?

Because thousands of people are mad, like you and me, about the ash cloud chaos, and the lack of response from all these Third World European politicians, bureaucrats and mandarins.

They stuck their heads in the sand, and wait for the storm to blow over.

Europe has been grounded for fiver days and here, in the UK, the elections campaign has prevented any action until one million British people trying to reach their country has been finally the wake up call for all the candidates, the government and the primer minister.

But London airports still remain closed.

And the chaos continues and grows.

So the traffic of this blog.

Thanks to all of you, and please spread the word:

We need another generation of politicians.

And another generation of public servants.

We need more transparency.

And more common sense.

We need leaders.

And not just rulers.
