AIR FRANCE ACCIDENT: BRAZIL VERSUS FRANCE (2)

Files under General | Jun 1st

Another two examples of how different the online coverage between French and Brazilian media has been.

First, the amounts of comments from the readers.

O Globo leads with 801 comments.

Le Figaro only gets 234.

And Le Monde less than 100.

Second, the first infographics.

A very poor one from Le Monde.

And a better one from Globo G1.

I dunno in Brazil, but it’s a holiday in France today. Most of the people who do these kind of maps are not working. Although there is the timezone shift which is important : It’s 1:30 am in France, 9:30 pm Brazil. Who do you think can work right now?

Well, the comparison is not available because of timezone like Celui said. However, i think that a great newspaper website like le Figaro should have people working at night, or cover news at home.
