U.S. CARS AND U.S. NEWSPAPERS: THREE FAT ELEPHANTS VERSUS THREE SLIM CATS

Files under General | Dec 8th

While the three fat, sick elephants of Detroit (GM, Ford and Chrysler) are getting more and more taxpayer money for the production of their big, inefficient cars, the BBC’s Top Gear magazine has selected in London the best cars of the year, including these three mini ones from Citroen, Fiat and Toyota.

Please pay attention to the level of sophisticated, smart design.

The Citroen C3 Picasso “big inside, small outside.”

The Fiat 500 Abarth, a “‘forward-looking statement.”

And the Toyota iQ, a “super compact less than 118 inches in length.”

A lesson for the fat U.S. automobile companies.

A lesson for fat U.S. newspapers.

Small is beautiful.

And less is more.

Brilliant!
