Look at these amazing pictures taken this morning in Manhattan by John Niedermeyer. People are waiting in line for a copy of today’s paper at the New York Times Building on 40th Street in midtown.
Looking not for the news.
Looking for explanation.
Analysis.
Many of these people, I’m sure, have been watching TV, listening to radio, and spending many hours online.
But they wanted more.
Better information.
To understand.
And went out to get a quality printed newspaper.
Good journalism sells.
Good journalism is good business!
So… how come so many newspapers didn’t get it and did not print enough papers?
