THE BLOG SERVER IS FINE AGAIN: MONTREUX, MONOCLE AND NABOKOV

Files under General | Sep 11th

Sorry for these last few days with no blog posts.

Our server was down, but it now seems that all has been fixed.

I just landed in Geneve (Switzerland) airport.

I am heading to Le Montreux Palace hotel.

Tomorrow, I will present my view on NEWSPAPER WILD IDEAS: CHANGE OR DIE! to Swiss newspaper editors and publishers.

I had a marvelous lunch reading the fantastic last issue of Monocle.

I am very, very happy that Monocle is becoming an iconic magazine.

Pictured is Vladimir Nabokov, the most famous resident of the Montreux Palace Hotel:

“A work of art has no importance whatever to society,” he insisted.

“It is only important to the individual, and only the individual reader is important to me.”
