Only The Washinhgton Post has a big infographic on the front page today.
The rest of the U.S. newspapers insist on the same pictures that we have seen hundreds of times yesterday on television or on the Web.
The New York Times displays a good selection of pictures… but ignores that this is the kind of story that deserves great infographics.
Weather information (remember George Rorick’s genious stroke with USA Today’s full-color, full-page weather map?) is the perfect topic for smart infographics.
In this area, almost everything can be explained better with graphics and photos than words.
