MICHAEL AGAR IS THE NEW ‘HEAD OF GRAPHICS’ AT THE TELEGRAPH MEDIA GROUP

Good Breaking news from London:

INNOVATION’s Michael Agar becomes ‘Head of Graphics’ across the media platforms of the Daily Telegraph, Sunday Telegraph and Telegraph online.

Michael was the Graphics Editor of the Independent on Sunday, and before he had the same job at The Observer.

His weekend job made it possible for many of our clients around the world to have the opportunity to learn from him.

He is not just a first-class visual journalist, but also a great teacher.

Agar served as president of the jury for the Malofiej Infographics Awards in 2005, and worked as an industry adviser to Newcastle College.

Well, Michael is going to have a lot of fun in the Telegraph’s new multimedia newsroom.

Himesh Patel, Telegraph Media Group Creative Director, said:

“Michael is renowned in the field of graphic journalism both in UK and abroad and he
is an excellent signing for TMG.

I’m delighted that he is going to head up our team at a time when we are seeking to expand the range and quality of our graphic content across both print and online.”
