Levante, the leading regional newspaper of Valencia, for the past few years has been publishing the same mega infographic about the same Sunday celebration, changing only a few details and the dominant illustration.
Herminio Fernandez, the art director of Prensa Iberica, and author of these excellent infographics, defends in Cuatro Tipos, a must read Spanish blog, this kind of recycling as the celebration has been the same since Medieval times.
I don’t have any problem with this practice.
The double spread is journalism caviar.
