FOUR HOURS OF GREAT MAGAZINE READING: VISAO AND MONOCLE

VISAO, the leading news magazine of Portugal, is celebrating its 15th anniversary.

Last year, INNOVATION relaunched VISAO and now the magazine is better than ever.

With more young readers than ever.

With more advertising than ever.

Pedro Camacho, editor of VISAO, is a very happy journalist today.

He had to take the place of the charismatic founder of VISAO, our friend Carlos Caceres.

We were saddened by his death a few years ago, but I’m sure that even from Heaven he is missing his magazine.

INNOVATION’s Marta Botero, Guillermo Nagore, Eduardo Tessler and Michael Agar did a super job under the leadership of Carlos Soria, and today VISAO is one of our most successful cases.

It can be summarized with this magic formula:

Investing in Quality Journalism is great business!

I spent more than two hours of my flight back to New York reading and enjoying the last issue of VISAO.

Absorbing every story, every graphic, every detail.

It was a great flight for magazine reading: first VISAO (two hours) and then MONOCLE (another two hours).
