This is from The Times of London.
And this one from Graphic News, published by the National Post in Toronto, Canada.
To my surprise, the coverage of this story outside the UK has been very mild.
Because Boeing and BA are big advertisers?
I don’t think so.
This is not a “local” story, like Real Madrid or Manchester United are not local soccer teams anymore.
This is a global story.
Remember, the Boeing 777 is “one of the safest jets in the world.”
And this is the first crash since the 777 first took to the skies in June 1995.
There are currently 667 in service. I have flown on 777s many times.
So, I want to know WHY this happened and, more importantly, IF this could happen again.
Thanks to Chiqui Esteban and Michael Agar.
