Today, Sunday, the first working day of the week in the Arab countries, Emarat Al Youm (which means Emirates Today in Arabic) show its new editorial and graphic models.
This is the second project by INNOVATION in Dubai.
One month ago, we launched the new Emirates Business 24/7, the region’s first daily business newspaper.
And today, an international team of INNOVATION consultants, lead by Gabriel Sama (USA) as Project Manager, Al Trivino (UK), Patrick Dunne (Canada) and Michael Agar (UK), has produced for the Arab Media Group (AMG) the new version of Emarat: The first compact, full-color, quality daily tabloid in the Arab world, the leader in this segment of the market.
The editor of the newspaper is Sami Reyami, and its art director is Ramzi Raja.
This was the last front page of the old version.
And this is the new one.
Click on the pages to see them bigger.
And some inside pages (including a double spread explaining the changes to readers, and a great mega-infographic by Luis Chumpitaz, the brilliant new graphics editor).
I am sure that Bush will understand falcons better with this amazing graphic.
In the AP picture, George W. Bush holds a falcon with Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Sheik Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan at the Royal Stables at the Al Asayl Racing and Equestrian Club, near the town of Sowaihan in United Arab Emirates.
