Sunday is the big day for classifieds.
More and more, newspapers are consolidating the classified ads into weekend editions.
These are today’s numbers in several leading Latin American newspapers:
El Mercurio, Santiago, Chile: 11,591 ads for cars, 8,682 for real state, and 2,275 for jobs.
O Estado de S. Paulo, Sao Paulo, Brazil: 14,688 classifieds.
Folha de S. Paulo, Sao Paulo, Brazil: 9,162 classifieds in 107 pages.
Zero Hora, Porto Alegre, Brazil: 12,600 classifieds.
