Yes, this is his desk.
And his meeting place.
Mayor Bloomberg starts his work with this daily news meeting at 9:30 a.m. in the “open space office” on the second floor of New York City Hall.
Well… you know he’s one of the most popular and effective mayors the Big Apple’s seen.
And one of the reasons is this way of conducting business and meetings.
He does in politics what he did in the news business.
Walls down.
Teamwork.
Interaction.
Planning.
Discussion…
And no private offices.
If he can do it and be succesful…
Why not to do the same in our newspapers.
Starting early.
Planning more.
Talking more.
Discussing more.
