Editor & Publisher announced the winners of the 2007 EPpy Awards for interactive media, presented at the E&P/Mediaweek Interactive Media Conference & Trade Show in Miami.
Awards were given in 32 different categories for excellence in online media, both for design and for content.
The 2007 winners for the best news Web sites of the year:
EL PAIS.com in Madrid (Spain) is named the site with the best design.
If Spanish design rules in the print world, the award to EL PAIS shows how their design of Web sites is now getting high marks around the world.
EP3 of EL PAIS also won the big award for the Best Entertainment Web Site with fewer than one million unique visitors per month.
