WHAT’S NEXT: INNOVATIONS IN NEWSPAPERS

I am in Athens and this is the old front page of Eleftheros Tipos, an INNOVATION client that is going to change in a big way next Wednesday.

In this nine-month project, INNOVATION had the opportunity and pleasure to work with the paper’s new owners and their first-class business and editorial team.

Juan Senor was our project manager, Javier Errea did the design concept, Marta Botero and Gabriel Sama developed the editorial and newsroom management models, Michael Fairhead advised about the new printing facilities, and Paris Ayomamitis was our local coordinator in Athens. Pablo Errea, Chiqui Esteban, Pablo Ramirez and Eduardo Tessler were also involved in the newsroom training.

In a few months, the new paper will be produced in a state-of-the-art multimedia newsroom that we have designed with our INNOVATION partner in New York, Saf Fahim, the architect of the Newsplex newsroom of the future.
