Like we said a few days ago; now they explain the reasons:
USATODAY.com experienced a substantial increase in registered users since the re-launch last month, with a dramatic 380% increase in registrations. Readers are also spending more time per visit on the site.
Particularly strong traffic gains were seen in the Sports, Money, Travel and Tech sections of the site. Nearly 40,000 user comments were posted in March.
Traffic to the site also increased, according to Nielsen/NetRatings.
Unique visitors to the site were up 21% from February, with more than 10,943,000 unique visitors to the site.
