REAL NEWSROOMS (87): 20 MINUTOS

20_minutos_newsroom_1.JPG

This is the 20 Minutos newsroom in Madrid (Spain).

Seven years after its launch, 20 Minutos is the largest Spanish newspaper.

And the first one with an online/offline-integrated newsroom.

Located in the old “Press Palace” inaugurated by King Alfonso XIII in 1930.

In the center you can see the H-shaped Superdesk, that manages the 14 regional editions of the free paper.

The editor, Arsenio Escolar, works in the glass office at the bottom of the room, but comes to the Superdesk around 19:00 hours to put the newspapers to bed.

Thanks to Arsenio Escolar and Julio Alonso.
