NEWSSTANDS GO CRAZY SELLING MONOCLE

Dan Hill is right:

First, black sells very well.

You can see how the black cover performs very well against other magazines.

Second, the placement of MONOCLE is not clear.

Each newsstand puts the magazine in different racks.
