I have been in Europe for almost four weeks.
Landing in Washington DC, I got the new Wall Street Journal.
Terrible impression.
I am sorry, but the new format is a big mistake.
I am not talking about the redesign.
I am talking about the chaos inside.
Jumps, jumps and jumps!
With jumps like these, nothing works.
Readers get mad.
Lost.
Mario García lost the battle.
The old gang of editors and reporters wanted text, text and text.
And text, text, text is everywhere.
A chaos.
Result?
A newspaper more difficult to read.
And to handle.
The worst is the news section.
Newspaper like The Wall Street Journal need to hire Steve Jobs and his great designers.
This is not an iPod paper.
This is a dinosaurs.
And dinosaurs die.
Does not matter how big they are.
