I found in a Tom Peter´s presentation about talent this great quote from Robert Altman (1925-2006), during his Oscar acceptance:
“The role of the Director is to create a space where the actor or actress can become more than they’ve ever been before, more than they’ve dreamed of being.”
This what we need from a newspaper editor.

I agree, but to have those kind of editors seems to be a dream.
