“I just got out of journalism school 18 months ago. In almost every class, the instructor would ask how many students read the newspaper. It was consistently less than 25 percent. In JOURNALISM classes.¨
Said today in an USA media blog.
Well, here we have three problems:
1. Journalism Schools are less and less about Journalism.
2. Newspapers play less and less real Journalism.
3. Students are less and less interested in Journalism.
And what we need is more and more, better and better, Journalism, Newspapers and Journalism Education.
Period.
