THE SPECTATOR GROWS

I am very happy to know that the Spectator is doing very well with its new editor, Matthew d'Ancona.

Sales of the Spectator rose to an average of 70,090 copies in the first half of 2006, up 2.4% on the previous six-month period and 4.4% year on year

For many years I was a subscriber of this unique British weekly magazine focused on political and current events.

In the 90´s, working for his company, I introduced the magazine to Dr. Ruy Mesquita, the "dean" of the Brazilian newspapers and editor of O Estado de S. Paulo, and since then he is a regular subscriber.

I am very proud of that.
