Our Brazilian Director Eduardo Tessler has been today speaking at the opening sesion of the ANJ Congress in Sao Paulo, the annual meeting of the Brazilian Newspaper Publisher Association.
Joao Roberto Marinho, CEO of O Globo, one of the best Latin American newspaper companies, said that after reading the recent The Economist "call to arms", the response from publishers and editors is very clear: we need to reinvent our newspapers.
As INNOVATION started in Brazil and since then we have been following very closely the development of the newspapers there, I can assure you that in the last 20 years, the time that we are in this media consulting business, ANJ is one of the most dynamic newspaper associations of the world, and the Brazilian market a very innovative one.
And if they say that we need to change in a big way, pay attention to them.
They are quick, fast and fast adapters.
