WILLIAM DUNN IS HERE
Ben Compaine sent me a message from Bill Dunn after reading my recent post about him.
In his own words:
"Actually, it is interesting to see the disassembly of older forms of information packaging and the development of the vast arrays of new methods.
I am sure that you and Juan and your colleagues are having an exasperating time trying to convince the old guard such as the NYT - declining circulation and advertising; the Chicago Tribune who's wheels are coming off the wagon; the chewing up and spitting out of the carrion from Knight Ridder, etc.
I don't suspect there is a simple answer to the problems they have and it certainly is not clear what will survive and be robust a generation from now."
